Questions Lubbock hosts ask
How do I find a reliable cleaner for my rental in Lubbock?
Connect your Airbnb or other rental calendar to Cleanavo, and every checkout in Lubbock becomes a cleaning offered to local cleaners, so you don’t have to find and text someone for each turnover. Every cleaner on Cleanavo is identity-verified through Stripe Identity and approved by a person before they can see any work. They can see what the job requires, when it takes place, and how much they will be paid, including any tip left beforehand. Your door code is shown to the cleaner only once they check in at your property, and cleaners don’t keep it after the cleaning. When a cleaner accepts your job you will see their ratings and completed cleanings. You will also be able to message them in the app around the cleaning start time.
What does a turnover cleaning cost in Lubbock?
On Cleanavo, a turnover cleaning in Lubbock is priced from your home’s bedrooms and bathrooms and the rate of the cleaner who claims it, never above the maximum you set. A turnover is the process of preparing a property after a guest checks out for the next guest’s arrival. Cleanavo automates this process by setting cleanings after each guest checkout. After a cleaning has been scheduled, either manually or automatically, the price is determined from the number of bedrooms and bathrooms the property has and the cleaner’s rate, up to a maximum you set. A service fee and sales tax are added on top and never taken from the cleaner’s pay. Tips are optional and go entirely to the cleaner. Prices by home size
Does it work with my booking calendar?
Yes. Cleanavo syncs with your Airbnb or Vrbo calendar through its iCal link and checks it every hour, so each guest checkout in Lubbock becomes a turnover cleaning. The iCal link is typically found within the listing’s availability or pricing settings. Cleanavo also works with any other short-term rental platform that provides an iCal link.
How long does a turnover cleaning take?
Cleanavo sets up cleanings on the day a guest checks out at the time you set. Cleanings take 3–5 hours depending on the size of your home and your cleaning list. We recommend setting the time of a cleaning 30 minutes to an hour after the guest checkout and 4–5 hours before your next guests’ check-in time to account for same-day turnovers and late checkouts.
How do I know a cleaning is done right?
You’ll see when the cleaner arrives, each checklist step as they complete it, and photos room by room on arrival and when the job is completed. If a cleaning is not to your satisfaction, raise a quality claim within 24 hours after the cleaning. We review quality claims carefully and can offer you a re-clean at no cost or a partial refund for the part that wasn’t done.
What if my cleaner can’t make it?
A cleaner who can’t make it can hand the job to another cleaner on Cleanavo. We’ll tell you and offer free cancellation for 12 hours after. If they cancel instead, the cleaning is offered to other cleaners again and we’ll let you know. If a cleaner doesn’t show up or doesn’t finish, you aren’t charged.
What happens if a booking moves or is cancelled?
Cleanavo checks your calendar every hour. If a booking is cancelled or removed more than 24 hours before its cleaning and no cleaner has claimed it, the cleaning is removed at no charge. A cleaning that’s already claimed or within 24 hours is kept and marked in the app so you can decide whether to cancel it. If a booking changes dates, a cleaning is added for the new checkout date.
What if no one claims a cleaning?
Cleanings are offered to cleaners from the moment you schedule to the time it starts. If the cleaning goes unclaimed it won’t happen and you will not be charged.
Do I have to provide supplies? Do cleaners do laundry?
Cleaners provide their own cleaning supplies and equipment. Cleaners are not responsible for providing guest consumables such as toilet paper or complimentary snacks. Cleaners can wash dishes if provided a sink, and change bed linens if provided a washer and dryer.
Can I cancel?
Yes, you can cancel 24 hours in advance at no charge, even if it has already been claimed by a cleaner. Within 24 hours a cancellation fee applies and will be shown on confirmation. Read the cancellation policy
