Your maximum
You set the most you'll pay for each property. It starts at 1.40× the base price, and lowering it lowers the price of every cleaning at that property. A cleaner whose rate is above your maximum can still take the job, at your maximum. Some may pass on a lower one, so a lower maximum can mean a cleaning takes longer to be claimed.
Service fee
10% of the cleaning price: Cleanavo's own charge to you. It's added on top and never taken out of what the cleaner is paid, so the cleaner gets their full rate.
Sales tax and tips
Residential cleaning is taxable in Texas, so 8.25% Texas sales tax is added to the cleaning price and the service fee. Tips are optional and you choose the amount. The cleaner receives all of it: no service fee and no tax is charged on a tip.

When is my card charged?
About 24 hours before a Cleanavo cleaning, a hold is placed on your card for the top of the range.
